OVAS Breeder's Award Program (BAP)
The BAP program is an integral part of any established aquarium society. The reproduction and the subsequent recognition of such accomplishments are a vital component of our hobby. It is an avenue to foster and encouragemembers to not only be encouraged to breed various fish, but to share that knowledge with fellow aquarists. The sharing of such accomplishments encourages interaction and valuable learning amongst all those that share our interests. The BAP, by virtue of its award levels and recognitions of accomplishments reaches beyond the local club to national levels through Associations such as CAOAC.
The BAP program is designed to foster a spirit of friendly competition through the awarding of various levels of accomplishment and various certification and prizes. Once established, we hope the awards will become a valuable part of our monthly meetings.
