Post by: Chesh on January 10, 2017, 07:59:34 PM
Instead of me asking what lights you all have and what you recommend, im gonna try a new spin on things... Say you have a new 75G SW and have 500-1000 to spend, what would you guys/gals get?

What do you intend to keep? Fish only, softies, lps, sps? Makes a huge difference on what ligjts you may need.

It really does depend on what your keeping. Personally I am a huge fan of Aqua Illumination products. I would reccomend you start of with some easy to keep coral until you are used to the husbandry a reef tank requires. Having said that. I think two AI Hydra26 HD would be an awesome start.

This hobby is expensive enough as it is and upgrading everytime a change is made can get costly. With that being said i will eventually be doing sps, lps and softies. Ill look into the above mentioned recommendations, thanks and keep it coming!

The Fluval is for FW only
The AI's look awesome! Two of the 52's would be ideal! Costly though...
