Female Flame Dwarf Gourami

I just recently purchased what i think might be finally a female gourami. I cannot for the heck of me find a picture of a female flame dwarf gourami that will make me certain that mine is one. Mine is half silver and tail end like a male (red)!

I was told that the females are silver but also read where they have been cross bred to have some color. Not sure if this might even be just a juvenile? Any help appreciated from anyone who has females!

My female is all silver with a touch of red/orange on the very tips of her fins. She is much smaller as well.

Have you ever seen one with half red for body? Can you post a closer picture of the female with more lighting? Thanks

I thought the females were all silver but that's in my very limited experience. I'll try to get a better shot of mine, but she won't stay still and my camera sucks...

Yes deff a flame gourami! Wasnt what i wanted but oh well! How do you know its a male tho? whats a female flame gourami look like?

    Where did you buy your female dwarf gourami? I cannot find it anywhere in New York and New Jersey. It looks very like silver dwarf gourami, and it is beautiful. Do not know why pet stores do not sell it.
