It is 40 meters (160 000 liters) not 14! :)
The temporary exhibit opens April 22. I hope it is still on when i visit Portugal later this summer. If so, i will take some pics and share.

Wow, definitely on my dream bucket list ;)

Ok. I think I've been out done. That's a dream for some, a pipe dream for the rest of us. WOW. I'm going to Europe (hopefully) in 2016, so now how do I get Lisbon into the itinerary. I bet they have scuba divers to do their maintenance. I was in the Atlanta aquarium last week and saw them doing their weekly maintenance - scuba divers as you would expect but they use small sponges to clean the glass, just as we do, who knew! And the Ripley's in Toronto is just as good, by the way, except for the porpoise show.

Here is a photo of Lisbon oceanarium's global ocean tank that I took a couple of years ago. Compared to it Toronto's Ripley aquarium looks like an over priced fish bowl :).

That's a crazy tank, I don't envy those how have to do maintenance on it though, like trimming, glass cleaning etc. Here is a brand new video (as of 4 hrs ago) of that tank...

Part 3 of the videos is up now. Other then a brief shot during the video, does anyone have a list of what plants and fish went into the tank? The videos are very good about the build but very vague on what went in I found.
