I brought home 4 Fire Red Shrimps recently from Shrimp Fever.
I noticed one of them died in the tank, so I took it out and stripped the eggs.
I put it in my egg tumbler that I use for my Africans.
They fungus up on me so I thought they were finished.
Went to clean the Tumbler a couple of days later and what do I find, about a dozen shrimpets.
Who knew this would work.
I didn't take any pictures because I thought the eggs were done.

Heard of that being done before! Glad you got some shrimplets after all !

Yes it works!
I had 2 female who molted and left a few eggs behind. So I've put them in a tiny fish net and let them in the tank. That way the current was still flowing in a little and a few days later I had some new shrimplets.
I heard about the danger of fungus, but I figured if they were still in the tank the alder cones I had might help keep fungus away.

Congrats on your little ones!

Starting over with new tanks and new types of fish!
