Anyone have any experience with Dwarf Hairgrass in a dirted, no CO2 tank?

I'm redoing a small 10g and would like to keep it real simple/low tech but hoping to get a "grassy" carpet of sorts.  Its going to be medium light, no CO2, dirted (potting soil).  Think I'll be able to get Dwarf Hairgrass to spread out?  Any other suggestions for a low carpeting plant that would work within these parameters?   Doesn't need to be a dense carpet...  just something that will spread out and not grow high.
The other option I'm entertaining is Dwarf Sag.

Thanks!

Hi , i have no personal experience with dirted tanks, but with dwarf hair grass.
The regular dwarf HG is not a very demanding plant, combine that with what i have heard & read on the dirted tanks i`m of the opinion you should have good success.
