OVAS Club Memberships
Becoming an OVAS member is one of the best things you can do to support the club and the hobby. In addition to helping the club pay for it's various programs, you receive
excellent discounts (up to 15%) at local aquarium/pet stores on merchandise, which means your membership will pay for itself in a very short time and save you a significant amount
of money on livestock and supplies.
You can join OVAS by purchasing a membership here at the OVAS store or at one of the meetings. The exchange of knowledge and meeting like-minded people is what the club is all about.
Once completing your order, your membership card will be mailed to you via Canada Post. Simply show it to supporting vendors when purchasing products to obtain your store discounts.
Memberships are good for the current OVAS season, which starts in September. If you purchase a membership mid-season you will receive a discount.
If you purchase your membership in the months of July and August please keep in mind that the club is not active in those months (although the web site is) and it could take 2 to 3 weeks
for you to receive your membership card.
You can pre-order your membership during July or August and receive an extra 1 or 2 months of membership benefits!
There are three classes of annual membership.
- Adult membership is for persons 16 years of age or older.
- Junior membership is for persons 15 years of age or younger.
- Family memberships are also available.
The purchase of a membership is not required to use the OVAS website or to attend the meetings.
