Title: where to get plastic bags?

I'm parting out my tank and need plastic bags to put fish/corals etc in when selling...where can I get some bags?

You can always as potential buyers to BYOB (haha, that sounds funny). As well, you can use ziploc bags... Double bag for extra protection if you want.

Zip lock bags are fish killers IMHO. The fish easily get caught in the corners during transport. Go to your LFS and ask for some - offer to pay but usually they will give you some especially if they know you.

I've never had any issue with ziploc bags but I can totally see your point Dan :)

Absolutely agree with Dan! Ziploc bags are not a good idea. Any LFS will give some to you. And don't overfill them. You'll be amazed at how fast the ammonia can build up. Stop feeding whatever you're going to move days in advance to reduce the ammonia that they will release into the bag.
