Title: Advice on Black Ghost & Pictus
Post by: dpatte on September 16, 2012, 10:30:57 AM
I have my 220 running, but I'm wondering if my black neons (which are mature size) would be at risk, if I added a black ghost knife fish, or a few pictus cats to the tank?

Who has kept these and what size fish did you keep with them without them becoming lunch?

I think the pictus will enjoy the neons for lunch!

Catfish are like goats...like to put everything in their mouths? hehe

I'm thinking that adult black neons are quite a bit bigger than neons, so I'm not sure.

They'll try...and I've seen them eat some pretty big things.  Nature of the beast.  I don't think the black ghost knife is something to worry about.  They tend to have proportionally small mouths.
