Title: Smartphone Aquarium Maintenance App Suggestions
Post by: Muad'Dib on November 11, 2020, 10:41:25 AM
Hi Everyone
I'm getting back into the hobby and was just wondering if anyone uses an app on their smartphone / tablet to track their aquarium maintenance?
If so, what's your favourite?

Cheers

I use Aquarium Note on Android.

Not sure if there's an iOS version.

It says there is an IOS version, but it's not in the App Store any longer.
There is also a web version but it's not accessible from a mobile device.
I think they may have actually stopped supporting the app.
Too bad.

Just thought I'd let everyone know about this...
After doing some more searching in the App Store, I found an app called Aquaticlog. It has a Web interface, an IOS app and Android app. Everything you enter on any platform is sync'd to you web account and accessible on any device.
It's also Free which is always nice, (does not appear to have annoying pop-up ads)
It's Canadian. (Developed by a guy out of Toronto)
Most of the current users seem to have Marine setups, but there are Freshwater users.

It's a place you can keep track of your Maintenance, Readings, Live Stock etc.
It does not have a link to any sort of Aquatic encyclopedia, or reference material, but there are other apps and websites for that.

I'm not endorsing it just yet, as I have only just found it, and my tank isn't yet setup, but it looks promising.

Cheers

I use Aquatic Log. Well, my son does. He enjoys digital tech stuff way more than I do. It works well for us.
The free version only allows one tank. If you want to keep track of more than one tank, you need to pay.
