can i put africans(mixed) with silver dollars?

due to space issues...i need to put them togeather, will they be OK in the same tank?

We really need to know the size of tank, free swimming space, the numbers and types of Africans, and of course the number, type, and size of silver dollars.

As an emergency, almost anything is doable, but unless the silver dollars have large tracts of real estate for escaping, it could go badly, if anyone is breeding in the tank, forget it, all bets are off.

Brichardis can be okay, but some others will not, so, back to more details.

another option is adding 2 large non-breeding convicts with the silver dollars! will that be ok?

I think you're asking for trouble having 16 3-4" africans in a 30gal to begin with.  I just can't imagine that combination doing well with 8 silver dollars of that size.  How long were you planning to keep them together?

I would imagine putting them with the convicts would be less likely to cause issues.
