Somewhat related to my post on otos and algae eaters...

My 40 gallon tank has room for new occupants. In it currently are,
-5 black skirt tetras
-2 black tetras
-5 gold dust serpae tetras
-1 angelfish, about 3" long
-3 kuhli loaches
-2, possibly 3 oto cats

My old pictus cat died some time ago... maybe I could get another one... I'd like to have something large, like that or another angel, but not something that will snack on the smaller fish.

Ideas?

How about some apisto agassizi, very impressive cichlid.

Whoops, forgot to mention the Kribensis. He's a he. Does that change the recommendation at all?

Not really, a single krib shouldn't be much of a pain. There are lots of options, personally I find dwarf cichlids to have a great personality and be very interesting.
