LF.raising water ph baking soda good or bad

I have cichlid tanks my question was what ingrediant(baking soda)etc.. with raising Ph of the water.(good or bad )for cichlids.

I use it myself, here is some links that will answer your questions and give recipe for cichlid water buffer.  I'va had no problems using baking soda
