Is there such a thing as too much air?
I have air bubbles caused from my power filter, as well as a full length end to end buble curtain at the back of my 55 gal, a large gris mill house that produses air bubbles and last but not least a nemo fish my 3 yr old got me for x-mas that shoots air too!
It isnt like the tank is bubbling over, and its always crystal clear, and the fish dont even seem to mindt the bubbles....but...I do notice little tiny air bubbles on the fish bodies ??? At first I thought it was ick or some parasite, but after close examination I could see it was air bubbles.
Anyway, am I harming my fish or water quality? :-\

You're definately not harming your water quality. As for the fish...unless you have a salt water tank with seahorses...I really doubt it could have a negative effect on them. Also...if you have slow moving fish that prefer a tank with minimal water movement, and you have jets of bubbles everywhere in your tank, this could be a problem too. What kind of fish do you have in your tank?

THEKINGCOBRA

I have a baby oscar, a baby jack dempsey, 3 small jewels, and a couple tinfoil barbs.

Some big fish you have there!!  Going to a bigger tank at some point?

After I do a water change I have tiny air bubbles on my discus. This time of year there is a lot of air in the tap water and it forms small bubbles after a water change.
