Picked up 2 White Piranha's while back at BA. One at the Innes location, and one at the Kanata location.

I was foolish at the time and did not get the Scientific name. Would anyone, perhaps who might work at one of the locations know the name of such... I know, shot in the dark.

They were listed as White Piranha, and placed in the South American section at Innes. A bunch of them in a tank, which is different as they are of the solitary family.

Thanks for any possible help.

Swung by the store yesterday and asked one of the guys. Apparently it was a ;

Serrasalmus spilopleura / Gold Piranha

That's the one that they carried. My larger one Certainly does not have any yellow / olive coloring to him. He is quite red near the throat.

I guess it will be interesting to see what color they turn out to be, as apparently some have a purple coloring to them.

Thanks Groan! Appreciated.
