I just cleaned my tank and found something crawling along my plants. has black spots, round , but end is flat. Some kind of snail. Should I want it or get rid of it?

I have no idea what it could be - does it have a shell?

It was very small and i removed it. I took it to the meeting tonight and was told it was some kind a snail thing i didn't want in my aquarium and proable will find more. so i will be on the look out!

Yes, it was a pond snail From one pond snail, come many. 
By the way, that was me you were talking to, and Babble of course.
