So, as my previous post said, my 10g has ich. Its slowly getting better, but mostly everything died. There are still some fish alive, maybe they are the strong ones.

How do I disinfect my net, vaccum, etc. so it wont infect my other tanks?

Thanks

Crumpet

Similar to the thread about disinfecting plants,  depends on what items you need to disinfect.  You could do a mild bleach solution, or you could go with salt. You can also do a white vinegar solution.

Sometimes the easiest way to avoid cross-contamination is to ensure that each tank has its own equipment.  Because I don't have as many tanks as some do (the most I've ever run at one time was 4, the largest being the 65, the smallest about 5 gallons) each one had it's own net, buckets, vacuum, etc.

I think Crumpet said it perfectly if you follow that advice you should not have any problems.  Just make sure to rinse and re-rinse after using any bleach.
