not my attachment to my corals, my coral's attachment to well, anything.  lol   ;D
zoos and shroom?  no problems.  but a leather frag that's "cut" is almost healed up and a small sarcophyton...they won't attach to *anything*.  grr.  both seem happy but I've tried to tie the leather down with thread (though I didn't stitch into the actual coral) and shoving both of them into a crevice.  no luck.  any more ideas?

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.  So love the people who treat you right.  Forget about the one's who don't.  Believe everything happens for a reason.  If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.  If it changes your life, let it.  Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Faerin

A little crazy glue gel, or marine epoxy will do the trick.

it was my understanding glue wouldn't work with these two?  I tried gluing the sarcophyton, and it still fell off sometime later.  and I thought the leather would just slough of the glued part...?

i had trouble keeping my leather in places until it finaly attached in between a peice in my rock...an actual perfect place for it pretty much..but just wait it out...they'll eventually attach to something.

Faerin

The glue is really just to try to help keep them in place untill they decide to attach themselves ... it's pretty hit or miss. You could try gently wedging them between a rock to keep them in place. As Tyler said, whichever route you take, in the end it becomes a waiting game untill they decide to attach themselves to something.

FishPassion

I have never had success with glue on leathers shrooms etc. Use some rubber bands and attach your frags, several if you have to. I just cut the rubber bands off after several weeks once you find the frag has attached itself to the rock then pull them off gently, be careful not to have those rubber bands on to tight so as not to cut into the coral.

Much the same as Fishpassion said. The only other thing I might suggest if you can't get the elastic to hold is to skewer w/ a toothpick and then wrap the elastic around the ends of the toothpick and the rock. The leather will then eventually attach.

crazy glue works fine for me, if i am using it under water, i just switch off the powerheads so that glue dont go inside them, some always comes off thanks to hermit crabs and all but majority stays.
