How an you tell if your shrimp are carrying eggs?

You can actually see it under the belly of the female
Photo1, she was ready to spawn the egg, yellowish stuff on her back. The space under the belly was empty.
Photo2, eggs were out and she carried them around under her belly. Notice she dropped a couple of eggs.
