The Ich

I believe my betta has the ich. He has about 7 tiny litle spots on him. All the other fish seem fine at the moment, but i moved my betta to my 2.5 ASAP. So know that he's alone what should i do? WHat's the best medication?

Better research on Bettas I would not give any advice on meds. or salt without knowing for sure. You should start to raise the temp. gradually get it between 82-84 but check the high side on that too... high heat increases the ich life cycle... ich can only be killed in the free swimming stage... Well my betta is dead . I had left to go get some meds and the heater went screwy luwy brigning the temp up to 40C. He burnt his fin and boiled to death:(. He was cured of his ich tho.:S
