Lighting hours

I have a 70 gal tank with dual 48" 32 watt bulbs, non planted housing 9 juvie cichlids, what is the recommend amount to leave the lights on?

Lighting for Africans is more for us than them.  It's nice if you can have enough light to generate a small amount of green algae as the herbivores will graze on it.

I do mine for 10 hours.  12 seems to generate more algae then I'd like, 8 seems too short for a cycle.  10 feels right.

I do 10 hours also, plus 2 hours of the moonlights.

It seems to be a constant, around 10 hrs, great thanks.. I also recently picked up 2, dual LED Moonlights I run them for 3 to 4 hrs I love the effect and the way the fish act in them.
