Breeding Pearl Gouramis

I traded 4 platy fry for 2 pearl gouramis. How do I get them to breed.

I recommend putting them in their own tank.  Feed both adults on a rich diet of frozen foods and good quality flake food and make sure the water is nice and clean.

The male pearl will make a bubble nest in an area of the tank that is sheltered from the current of the water.  The female will start to get fat with eggs.  When everything is perfect (in their opinion) the male will chase the faemale to his bubble nest and if she is willing, they spawn. 

Perhaps your dad would be the best person to describe exactly how the spawning works

The Male then chases the female away and cares for the nest and the eggs/fry.  You may have to remove the female because he will become EXTREMELY protective over his babies.
