Catching shy fish

I am going to have to move some of my cichlids and I do not want dismantel my tank, it is heavily caved and planted. Nets are no good, the fish are smarter then I am. I read the "Tips&Tricks" on the chopped up water bottle, does this work? and does anyone have any other tricks?

Last week end I used the bottle trick to trap a few juvie cichlids, worked quite well and easy. I did however use a pepsi bottle but the outcome was the same.

Glad to hear it works...I might try Diet Pepsi, some of my boys are getting kind of fat.......
