Buddy list

What exactly does the buddy list do?  Apart from marking people as being your buddy, that is...

I would guess... pretty much nothing else. I guess I should go figure out the real answer

On the Home page or the Forum Home Page, in the list of users online, your buddies show up in bold.  Makes it easier to see if they are on the forum.

That's pretty much what I figured.   I've never added anyone to a buddy list (I can't take the thought of being rejected if I ask! ), I can just look at the people online to know who's here.

There's no rejection in setting up a buddy list.  The other person doesn't have to approve it - in fact they don't even know about it.  So go ahead and see how many buddies you can "invent".

Interesting...  Still seems like a bit of a useless feature though.   Maybe I will play around with it.
