Hi new to plants and am looking for some plants that I can attach to some drift wood in a pond.Ideally the plant would be able to grow in and out of the water and also be easy to keep. Also is there any mosses or grasses that would do well. Thanks in advance for your input.

Well, Nerine reported that her java moss is doing quite fine out of water http://ovas.ca/index.php?topic=27965.0, and it can be readily attached to driftwood, needs only low light and is generally very hardy, so maybe that would be a good bet for you.

Hope it works out :)

java moss is great :) it'll grow anywhere! speaking of which I need to post photos haha I also need to transfer it to a bigger bucket!!

I also have creeping jenny, it grows across anything, that's growing all over my yard as it's very bog like
