how to make a slow drip?

anyone has a website showing how to make a slow drip for acclimating livestock?

The simplest way is to tie a knot in a pc of airline hose.tighten or loosen the knot according to how much water you want dripping.

I just use an airline gang valve on the bucket end. bit more control but same thing as a knot I suppose.

but after an hour dripping, water should get colder in the bucket no?

maybe very slightly, but the water is coming from your tank, so the heated water is what is dripping into your bucket. It shouldn't be too different. I think the temperature gradient inside your home from your tank isn't too big a difference for such an operation.

You don't really need to acclimate if you have a QT tank that matches the salinity of the water in the bag.

Just float the bag until the temps match and you're good to go. I have not loose a single fish or coral due to acclimation.

i use a piece of JG tubing with a JG valve and it works awesome.
