Anyone know where I could get my hands on a diamond bit so that I can drill my tank?

Preston hardware carries them.

There's also Princess Auto.  But PA, Preston HW and MOPS all sell the cheaper variety.  Okay if you only want to make a couple of holes, but if you want a good one, Rona carries them...though they are substantially more expensive.

If you're not in a rush, there are cheap ones on eBay (Lau from THK Diamond Tools). They are not made to last forever but they will allow you to make your holes for your tank and possibly a few more.

I was looking for diamond hole saws as well.  The ones from mops.ca seem to be exactly the same as the ones from the ebay guy, just double the price or so.  I emailed the ebay guy about making a specific combination of hole saws and he gave me cheaper shipping and reduced the price on them.
