Looks like a beginning of a nice planted tank to me! How many total watts do you have? You'll definitely benefit from a natural-looking substrate, but research it carefully before you invest (see my previous post). Let me know if you'd like more plants, you're welcome to my weekly prunings.

what species of hornwart do you have? I know one species flowers, Little yellow ones, watch the hydrofelia doesn't take over the tank it grows very fast.

May have spelt it wrong, but it is the tall plant with oval shaped leaves between the drift wood and the thing on the left.
