cheap lighting

Hi a want to make my self a small frag tank 36 long 20 deep and 12 inc of water deep but i don't want to spend alot on it.  but i want coral to grow as fast as it can.

so what would be the best cheaps lighting for it there are so many types so i don't know were to go.

used metal halide or pick up some t5 at a hydroponic store
