I know where I can find a used 35 gal aquarium......the aquarium is in perfect condition, about 2 years old.... no scratches visable.  Lighting is a fluoresent.

What would be a reasonable price for the tank?

for a second hand tank with nothing...no lights no filter no stand etc...just a glass box I would charge about a dollar a gallon. More if it was in excellent shape and more if it had more equipment. So if it was just a tank with a lid and regular fluorescent lights and in "perfect" condition I might pay as much as 2 bucks a gallon so $70....but only if I really wanted it because tanks can be had for less if you look around.

I usually figure out the price I want to sell/buy a tank for by the $x/Gallon method. New tanks cost like 5 bucks a gallon so I won't pay more than 2 or 3 bucks per gallon for used....of course I am on a tight budget and I don't need more tanks so I would only get another if it was a good deal.

Great!   I should of thought about that at the big auction every year!   :p

The tank comes complete with light........and the accessories that I don't need....and some pretty expensive common african cichlids that I don't want.
