A perfect example of why they shouldn't be sold in bowls or five in a ten gallon 

On the goldfish forum there are fancies that have to be held in two hands.  One person's black Moor weighed over two pounds.

As a child, we had one, that grew to be 13 inches, he lived in a pond in the summer, house tank in the winter, was a great pet.

That goldfish is one of the ugliest goldfish I have ever seen!

I feel bad that it's in such a small tank.  It's a good demonstration that they DON'T grow to the size of their environment though!

I wonder how that woman manages to do adequate water changes?

Maybe it's what keeps her fit?

I have feeder goldfish that are now 6 to 8" never though they would get so big! They live in the pond during the summer and in a 75 in the winter
