Narrow vals

I went to the Giant Auction and saw a species of vals that was narrow (about 1/2 inch wide), and which grew to a maximum of 24 inches, I believe.  I would like to know if anyone knows what the latin name for it is, or who was selling those narrow-types of vals? i would be interested in getting a few plants.
