They are not T8, but T12:
"Uses 25, 34 or 40W T12 bi-pin fluorescent tubes, sold separately"

you can usually use t-8s and t12s in same fixtures.. the ballast voltage allows its..

There must be different fixtures at different stores.  CTire Kanata definetly has the sale fixtures taking T8's/Electronic ballast/32w.
