I have algae in my new 7gal tank I think its Spirulina because its green and hairy. Any ideas on how to rid it? The tank right now is a breeding tank with Red Ramshorn snails and Malaysian Trumpet snails.
Also I have noticed on one of my live plants there are small red dots scattered on the leaves, would these likely be Red Ramshorn snail eggs?
Thanks in advance anyone  :)

would Ottocat's be an idea to put in with my fry to eat the algae or would they eat my fry?

you can reduce green algaes by reducing the brightness or amount of time the lights are on. Remove as much as possible manually.
