where can I get two part locally? Im interested in the BRS two part resp. 1... Is there an equivilant locally, as I dont want to pay $30 for shipping.

You can buy the ingredients and mix it yourself.
Cal =  (Calcium Chloride - de-icer)
Mag = (10:1 (some do 7:1) combination of Magnesium Chloride (Mag Flake) and Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt))
Alk = bake baking soda in the oven (if you have a high PH or just use it without baking it in the oven if your PH is low)
Richie Feed sells most of these in bulk.  Any pharmacy will have Epson salt
Look up Randy's 2-Part of recipe and amounts to mix for a gallon of solution

I am using the brs kit (bought their mag as well...) and it's working great so far. Locally I don't know... you can use the DOW stuff and I've seen some people posting they have bulk quantities for sale but not recently.

Thinking of using one of those bubble magus 3-pump standalone dosers at some point.. have read nothing but good reviews.

hmmmm, I may bite the bullet and get the BRS. Or ill build my self a nice Ca reactor lol

I was very pleased with the 2 part starter kit. The other thing you could do is see if anyone else needs anything from brs and do a little group order same some bucks on shipping.

I have an itchy finger and already pulled the trigger on the BRS site before consulting the boards again... Dang. According to my calculations however, I will need to "re-up" in about four months
