air pump

I want to buy a small air pump for my aquarium I have. small one. I was wondering which one of them last the longest before it stops working. I have tried the hagen pumps and they break down very fast and when the diaphragm is changed then it still dont work correctly any more.
so let me know what would be the best choice

That's a good question lol!

I've had some hagen ones last about 8 years....and others last a year!
Right now I'm using Tetra Whisper pumps...and love them, not only are they not super expensive but fairly quiet...I've had one over 6 years now and it's wearing out, so quite noisy, but the smaller one is just as old and still going strong...

I hear Rena makes a good pump, but I don't have any first hand experience with them...
