Outbox?

How does this Outbox system work for PMs?

Just curious... does it work like this:

I send a msg and it is moved to my Outbox. Before the other person picks up the msg, it stays there. Once they have picked it up it's moved to my Sentbox? And I have the power to delete the msg in the Outbox, meaning the person never receives it?

And the Saved area... Is that for any sent or received PMs?
