Are you sure you have a "common" pleco?

They really are a pain in the you-know-what as soon as they surpass 6".  They eat tones, poop tones, chase fish away from food, plow over plants, occasionally eat plants, etc.  When they get big enough they can sometimes tip over things that aren't partially buried or wedged in place.
