help with 20gal fast setup.

I'm going to set up a 20gal holding tank till my 125g is cycled..

i have a 10gal running with my 2 blue jacks and tiger pleco.. all small...


but i want to order a few Angelicus cat fish from tim..

and want to set up my 20gal i have lying around..

i also have has a dirty old sponge from Mila filter sitting at the intake of my filter since i setup my 10gal aswell as some polyfilter in the filter i can remove and put into the AC 150 i have...

can i insta-cycle my 20gal to hold the catfish? bare bottom tank.

Make use of all filter media that you have, and the 20g will be for all intents and purposes, cycled. You might experience a mini-cycle when you add the new fish, but it should be minor and easily taken care of with a couple of waterchanges.
