U V Sterilizer

I was in @ Superpet Merivale & they are stocking a in tank U V sterilizer, rated for tanks up to 53 US Glns, have anyone used this or any other intank sterilizers  - what are the experinces (good or bad) also pros & cons of using this.

I have three UV sterilizers in-line.  Do they work?  Hard to say but I haven't had an algae bloom or disease in any of the tanks since I installed them about a year ago.  Had one bulb burn but no problems other than that.  If you decide to buy one you're throwing good money away if you don't buy it on Ebay or a US aquarium supply house.
