Hi Michael, as much as i would like to engage in a conversation with you on this subject, i have made the personal choice not to do so on this forum.

Errol, Sorry for the confusion, the question was intended to be rhetorical. I was not attempting to engage you in a debate over club matters (I am fairly certain I would lose  )

I believe the club has already chosen which direction to move in. Although I may not agree with the direction, I respect the fact that they are trying to affect positive change.

Isn't it just opinion that OVAS is about cheap stuff and not necessarily fact?
And even if it is known as a great place to trade or buy cheap stuff, so what? All the other great forums are still there with the same fish-addicted people enjoying them. Why does it offend anyone that everyone doesn't see the site the same way they do?

As for principle, the attitude is what I think turns people off. It's just $20 or some long emotional response telling me(a potential customer) what I should think or suck it up is not going to get you very far. I feel like there are power trips when locking threads and constant criticism for wanting change and sqeeking the wheel(looking for grease).

Anyways, slim picking in the classified today (1 entry) and yesterday (3 entries) and before that (1 entry) and all salt water stuff.

Well i am new as a paying member and here is my taught. Yes, not everybody is agreeing with the executive decisions. But if changes are to be made, then either constructive recommendations can be done or joining the executive and volunteer to the club is an option. Being mad at changes never is productive.
I did not join only for the classified which i will probably not use for a while but to support the club and enjoy the services provided.

I think we need to figure out who is going to run the club, before we figure out who can post in the classifieds.

Let's wait until the new execs (if we can find any!) are in place before re-hashing this issue.

I think Matt and the rest of the current execs deserve their last month in peace...
