Koralia Powerheads: Weak Magnet?

How is everyone's magnet on their Koralia powerheads?  I have 3, and they seem soooo weak.  Magnets barely hold them, and the slightest pressure on them makes them fall.  My glass is 3/8" thick but they are supposedly rated for up to 1/2".

I believe my glass is also 3/8 and I've never had a problem, even with the #2s. Is it the wet side or the dry side that seems the weakest?

I was walking down the street and a man was hammering on a roof top and he called me a Paranoid Little Weirdo. . . in morse code.

I own about half a dozen.
1's,3 & 4's.  no issues.

Wet side, but I guess it makes sense since it's the heaviest.  The dry side I need to pull quite a bit to remove the magnet... but on the wet side... ouch.  It's my first salt setup so maybe I'm just expecting things, but I'd feel better if they held a bit more.

You might try scraping the glass to remove any algae or buildup. The Koralia's do have a small amount of suction on the wet side.

The tank is new, so no algae there!  I had to fish one power head out from the bottom of the tank this morning, it fell overnight :-S

Are you using the right side of the magnet? One side attracts and one side repulses....bahhahahaha ;D

MY tank as well is 1/2" thick glass and I have no issues with the magnets holding on.  Magnets if dropped can cause a change in the magnetic field from what I remember.  Have they been dropped often?

They haven't been dropped (by me anyway).

As an update, I have reinstalled them making sure I pushed the suction cups really hard, and they have now been OK for a few days.  I'll blame the installer (me) and not the powerheads.
