Eheim replacement tubing / capacity question

I am upgrading my tank from 40 to 60. According to the specs, my Eheim 2213 is good for up to 60 gal - but in the same paragraph, it says this filter will process only 130 gph. A 60 gallon tank needs 240, no?
If I am to keep this filter, I will need to buy replacement tubing for it to reach. Where could I get this?

I would imagine Big Als will have it but if you wanna save money just buy some clear tubing from your local hardware store. Just bring a piece of the tubing with you then use that to buy a length of tube the way size as you Eheim tubing. It won't be pretty because you'll get to see all the gunk inside it where as with the Eheim tubing its green so it helps block that out.

The question whether the 2213 will be sufficient for a 60 gal will depend on the bioload you are planning. For my taste, the filter volume will be a little to small as it doesn't provide enough room for those additional bacterias if needed. For example: I am running 2x 2213 on a 30 gal tank.

Recommended turn-around for bio filtration is around 2 times tank volume, so in this aspect the 2213 will be just fine.

Tubing can be bought at BA for example, but be prepared that Eheim parts aren't cheap. You can get tubing much cheaper in hardware stores, but bring the quick-connects with you and check if you can fit them (in case ou are planning to use them).

After 8 months I've decided to go the way a lot of people go :  double the filtration capacity advertised on the box.

The 2213 is rated for 65g.  On a 60g, I would get two of them (added benefit is better water circulation, having 2 intakes + 2 outputs)

Just my 2 cents -- actually no, I stole these cents from other people  :D  I'm giving 'em back. There.

Thanks everyone for the two cents. With a few more, I can buy the tubing!  ;)
