Are there any canadian online retailers that sell fish and corals and stuff?

Any recomendations?

There are LOTS!

But my recommendation is to shop locally.
After purchase support is very important IMO and this type of support is much much better when you can go and see your local vendor. This includes support for both livestock and drygoods.
If you purchase a coral locally and it isn't doing well you can go back in to your local store and talk to them about what you are doing wrong. Chances are they will already know the details of your tank (if not explain them to the store) and they should be able to help you trouble shoot why that coral isn't doing well whether its lighting, water quality or paramenters or flow. This type of support is not available from online shops typically (although sometimes it is).

If you purchase a pump online for example and it break while under warranty you have to ship it back thus negating th small savings you gained by purchasing it online. Plus your tank is without that pump for weeks!

We are lucky in Ottawa as there are several stores with a huge variety of very nice corals and a wide array of dry good products.
IMO, use the resourses at your disposal.

I agree, normally I wouldnt order online.

However i am looking for a fish that doesnt make it on the list very often apparently.  I wouldnt have thought they where that hard to come by but I may be wrong.

I was hoping with having a few online retailers I would have a better chance of finding what Im after.

Try asking your local stores to see if they can bring it in for you. You'll be surprised.

What fish exactly are you looking for?
It is very possible that local stores can get it but may not order it as previously there has been no demand.

I agree with Severum, I would be very surprised if you cant get it in town.

Is the male already in the tank?
If so that can be a tough intorduction.

I dont think those should be too hard to find.
