If I'm treating for ich should I turn off my uv sterilizer? Thanks.

I think you better leave it on to kill any newly hatch Ich in the water.
75 gal - Mosquito rasbora, Bushynose pleco, RCS
9 gal - CRS
40 gal - Longfin Albino Bushynose pleco, RCS

Turn up the heat, add salt at recommended doses.

Leave the uv sterilizer on.  Can't hurt.

It might be a good idea to ask the manufacturer of the ich medication. It"s possible that the uv light could break down the chemical.
