Ordering guppies by mail?

I was browsing the web and saw that some guppies breeder are selling guppies and sending them by mail....

Even if they are sent via canada post express (like 1-3 days)....do they actually survive?

I still can't wrap myself around that idea.....isnt it cruel? Is that a common way of selling fish online?

They've got to get them to you somehow.

Most places seem to ship priority overnight via one of the shipping services, and not Canada Post.  Generally avoid any place that doesn't have an "arrive alive" type guarantee though, and do your research.  Not all online vendors are equal.
