Weird Lump On Oscar's Lip

My Oscar has recently sprouted some weird growth on his lip, I've tried putting Melafix to see if the lump would go away, but no such luck. I'm starting to get worried that it might be something fatal. If anyone has any insight on what it might be please give me your input.

Did he get into a scrap?  My oscar has one of those also on her lip, because the chocolate cichlid lip locked.

Possibly irritation from a parasite?

It seems to have shrunk, but there is still a small mark.
Perhaps acne??

Probably just an irritation then, similar to a pimple..

why not try Oscarfish.com  ? they might have a bit more experiance.......  

well maybe not experiance Ive seen some messed up posts there, but you will have a better targeted audience.
