I have a collony P.elongatus in a 55g that is aquascaped with calciferous rocks. There is some red algae, most likely black beard, making a turf on the rocks. It does not seem to get eaten like I thought it would. Have I spoiled my mbuna with too much yummy flake food? Or do they not like BBA for a "between the meals snack"?

This is the answer :)
Somehow they do not eat this type of algae in my tank as well, but everything green has gone (together with plants) ...

thanks gvv :)

I better think about getting some more light in there then to up the green stuff before the red takes over the place.
