I recently picked up some Calcium Nitrate by accident (meant to buy potassium nitrate). Can I still use this without causing myself problems? I already have slightly hard water....will this make it worse?

Thanks,

Jeff

Most likely it will if your source water is calcium rich.
Regards
P.S i`m sure somebody in the city where our water is soft & calcium poor can use this.

I use it since Ottawa water is too soft and calcium depletes quite quickly if you got a fair amount of plants growing. There are no ill effects, other than better growth and more red coloration, but it probably will make your water a bit harder.
