What has worked for me is the diatom, aquari-sol, Melafix and vacuum gravel.For a min of 10 days/longer if req. If you have to do it longer then 10 days, vacuum more often.

Just wanted to post an update.

I've been doing 30% water changes every couple of days, keeping the temp at 86F and using the uv sterilizer. Seemed to have worked a little.

Yesterday I pulled the uv sterilizer and keeping the temps up, with the salt added, I started dosing again with QuICK Cure (formalin and malachite green). Today I have noticed SIGNIFICANT improvements in the fish. Some fish no longer have any specs on them at all.

I did another ~33% water change today. Then fed. I will be doing another ~33% water change before I leave for school this evening. (Evening classes suck.) And will then be dosing again with QC.

Glad to say this is disappearing and under control.
